Studio Emilio is a labor of love created, owned and run by Emilio Hawley. A certified Pilates instructor and Polarity Therapist, Emilio’s true passion is helping others achieve the sense of wellness that he discovered and developed for his own personal development.The studio has evolved as Emilio’s own fitness journey has evolved: he lives the results he teaches. 

 

As a dedicated athlete in high school and college, Emilio reached the highest levels of competition in wrestling but hit a limit in what he was able to accomplish within conventional gym-based training. Pilates was a game changer in that it offered him an integrated approach to build strength and increase agility and flexibility. The shoulder stretches, extension through the spine and attention to detail in full body, connected movements were like scratching an itch he’d had his whole life. Feeling the strongest and most connected he ever felt, this improved his performance both on and off the mat. The later discovery of Polarity Therapy gave Emilio access to a vibrant and empowered authentic sense. He’s since earned his Polarity Therapist certification from the Polarity Therapy Institute in San Francisco and finds that it beautifully compliments Pilates training for his clients.

 

Called the “Good Vibes Guru”, Emilio has passion for helping others through bodywork and mindfulness. His studio is an oasis in the truest sense.
